Travis and Lauren Hardy – Music Editors (Austin)

As Austin transplants, this duo loves the multitude of opportunities the live music capitol of the world offers…there’s so much more than music, but that’s not a bad tag-line. Lauren, when not nursing in pediatric oncology, can be commonly spotted wearing plaid and listening to her discman. She likes the feeling of hot concrete after a dip in the pool, the taste of peanut butter frozen yogurt, driving throughout the land(though she’s not good at it), running, exploring, music, and Travis’ impression of their dog George as Jim Gaffigan and his bottomless encouragement of G to consider his theological convictions—Georgie only responds, “All dogs go to heaven..so why should I care?”
When not quoting Bottle Rocket, or attempting to convert G, Travis can be found downloading countless tunes on emusic he never listens to again, wishing for his next motorcycle, and pondering the weight of years of student loans with multiple non-traditional degrees. Their love of the arts and culture make their one bedroom condo shared with George on the east side of Austin one of the hottest spots in Tejas.
