Hey, I’m Dan and I’m thrilled you checked out The Drop. As the closest thing to Captain Stubing about this musical Love Boat, I’m responsible for most that goes on with the site. It’s definitely had several iterations on our way to where we are right now. I love music and thought if there was a site that exposed viewers to new music and upcoming trends in sonic goodness without the usual hipster snobbery – I’d be interested to check it out. Unfortunately it didn’t exist – so The Drop was formed.
I started in music as a concert promoter and now I love media in most forms as long as it connects people and ideas.
