Calling Non Commerical Radio Stations

THE DROP

Do you know someone in your neighborhood who has a killer radio show on the local community or college station? Would you like to see your community/college station get some help with quality programming? If so, THE DROP is asking for your help. Starting today, THE DROP is looking for several stations to be beta testers for the One Hour Radio Show of THE DROP.

What’s the show all about?

Great Question! THE DROP features 57 minutes of the best in indie rock music along with a featured guest each week.

Guests, like who?

How about musical upstarts Headlights (Polyvinyl), Pattern is Movement and NY Times Best selling author of The Likeability Factor and music maven, Tim Sanders. And that’s just the first month.

Isn’t THE DROP a Podcast?

Yes, and 2006 was a great success. Fans from all over the country downloaded THE DROP by the tens of thousands and as a result we’d like to expand on the idea of giving fans more access to their favorite musicians and pop culture heroes.

Are there any costs?

Nope… Beta testing stations can get THE DROP for FREE!

So what’s the catch?

In exchange for the show we’re asking Non Commercial /Community /College Stations to give us honest feedback on the show so we can get the bugs worked out.

So please help us, if you know a Radio General Manager, On Air DJ, or the Janitor at a Community/College radio station contact THE DROP at info[at]thedroponline.com and don’t forget to include a little about you so we can thank you for your help. The Pilot Episode of THE DROP is available now for immediate download to Non Commercial/Community /College Stations.

Thanks for your help, it’s really appreciated.
