The digital home of THE DROP features up to the minute info on what’s happening in the music industry (specifically in the indie rock, down tempo, folk rock, electronic and progressive hip-hop genres). Staffed by several editors from around the country, the site is in constant motion and influencing the tens of thousands of visitors monthly. The website serves as a conduit for the community that THE DROP listeners and readers have become. The articles and updates are written for the everyday music appreciator and not by industry types, this is by design to invite others to experience incredible music. In short, we’d like to tell you about great music, new artists to check out and leave the attitude behind.

The Podcast - Innovative, professional and in depth. If you could sit down with one of your favorite artists and talk with them for 15 minutes, what would you ask? Would you be interested in who they are beyond their musical capacity? We think you would, and as a result THE DROP podcast aims at giving added accessibility to your favorite musicians. We’re fans first and we’re just as interested in the answers as you are. In addition, it’s people that we’ve have a lot of respect for and we get the opportunity to talk with them about what’s happening in their sphere. What we’re focusing on is more than just a first look or the standard interview. Our aim is to give an opportunity for you to be engaged by these semi off beat conversations to make our guests more accessible.
