It’s been a while so I want to check in and make sure you’re all caught up on everything that’s been happening as we get ready to release my new record, Actor, on May 5. You can preorder it using the link on my website ( www.ilovestvincent.com ) and get a free 7″ from the UK! If not, head on to your favorite record store on May 5 to pick it up.

I have a video that just came out for “Actor Out of Work” from the new record that you can watch on my website ( www.ilovestvincent.com ). You can also embed this on your blogs or wherever you like and send it to all your friends, family, distant relatives, cats, dogs. It was made by the directing duo known as Terri Timely who have done great videos for Joanna Newsom and Midlake. They came up with a strange, hilarious concept for the shoot and I’m really pleased with how creepy it turned out.

In May and June I’ll be hitting the road in the US with my new band so hopefully you can make it out to a show and say hello. Please check out all the dates below. If I’m not making it to your town, I’ll do my best to get there later in the year…(SORRY CANADA!!!) There are European dates being planned for July, too.

If you’re in New York I have a special unannounced and invitation-only solo show in Manhattan TONIGHT and we’ve saved a few seats to offer to you. There is only a VERY limited number of seats put aside and we’ll give them out on a first come-first served basis until they’re gone If you’d like to attend this show at 8:00 PM sharp, email my friend Todd at toddinbk@gmail.com before 4:00 PM EDT today and he’ll let you know if you were quick enough to grab a pair for this special little show.
