For the Our Lady Peace Fans

Some of you may or may not be familiar with the Canadian band, Our Lady Peace, who is easily the best Canadian rock band, if not the best rock band in this current state of rock music. With hits stretching back to 1997 with “Clumsy,” the band continues to stay relevant and release heartfelt alternative rock music for the timeless age. Songs besides the radio hits, “Somewhere Out There,” “Innocent,” and the aforementioned, “Clumsy,” have truly stretched the bounds of alternative rock music. But that is another blog, another day. I’m here to pimp lead singer, Raine Maida’s solo release!

The Hunter’s Lullaby is now available for purchase and is one of the bright spots for 2008, since it was released so late in 2007. “Yellow Brick Road” is the first song that stands out based on the “spoken word” feel to it, with a chorus that’ll stick in your head all day long. Trust me on this one. I not only recommend this record for Our Lady Peace junkies, but for anyone whose tired of the music industry’s current state of music.
