Urban Outfitters seems to have their junk together and in full gear these days. Most notably, the addition of their “blog” section of their website. And you thought this was just a clothing store for hipsters alike! Be informed, they have launched “Free Yr Radio,” which is essentially an independent radio station, in hopes to garner attention for the bands who don’t get the exposure like the boys of Maroon 5 do. They host events that “generate awareness and funds for a handful of stations.” There’s tons of cool downloads on there for you to enjoy. And something for our Minneapolis readers – Tapes ‘n Tapes will be playing at the Urban Outfitters on June 5th. Just check out the site – you’ll get the idea.
